presentation introduces visitors to the excitement of a Monster Jam.
Open Exhibit Area
Besides
observing Blue Thunder up close, visitors can “meet” some drivers
through exciting visual presentations of their stories. Exhibit-goers
also can learn monster lingo—the language of monster trucks. In
addition this section features large-screen video displays of
spectacular crashes from actual monster-truck events.
Grave Digger Climb On
Would-be
drivers can experience the thrill of climbing up into the cab of Grave
Digger, the most famous of all monster trucks. Visitors can sit in the
driver's seat, touch the controls and get a driver's-eye view from 12
feet high.
Pump It Up!
The
most recognized feature of the monster truck is the massive Terra Tire,
66 inches high and 43 inches wide. An interactive display allows
visitors to turn one of these tires, weighing more than 800 pounds,
using a planetary gear.
Monster Makeover
Photos,
illustrations and video describe the processes, tools and people behind
the creation of unique monster-truck artwork. This section also
features up-and-coming trucks and actual truck hoods that exemplify the
diversity of monster-truck art and design.
